Stone Alarm, LLC (Stone) is the leading residential and commercial security provider in the State of Utah. Stone provides its customers with the highest quality products and the most affordable prices. What follows is Stone's online privacy policy, which governs personal information gathered on our Internet sites (www.stonealarm.com and its aliases)

Stone's Commitment to Online Security
Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. Stone encrypts billing information wherever Stone requests it. All Stone agents and contractors with access to personal information obtained on Stone’s web sites are also bound to adhere to this policy as part of their contract with Stone.

Personal Information that Stone May Collect Online
Stone collects personal information online, including names, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and facsimile numbers, billing information, and complaint information. Stone may also collect business information from sole proprietorships that apply for program participation, some of which could constitute personal information, as well as personal information from individuals acting solely in their business capacity. Stone does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13. In addition, no parts of our sites are designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 13.

How Stone Uses Personal Information Collected Online
Unless you otherwise consent, we will use your personal information only for the purpose for which it is submitted, such as to reply to your emails, handle your complaints, and process billing and business requests related to program participation, and we will use such information to provide operational notices, in program record-keeping and to conduct research on industry marketplace practices. At certain points where personal information is collected on our site, there may be a box where you may indicate you would like to be on a mailing list to receive information about other Stone programs and services and about ways to support Stone. This election box only appears in places where the department collecting personal information maintains such lists. At any time you can add or remove your name from a Stone list by contacting us at privacyreview@stonealarm.com.

How Your Information May Be Shared
In order to process a request, Stone may send the request to a third party affiliate to efficiently process your order. In any case where such sharing occurs, all third party affiliates are bound by the same terms of this privacy agreement and have agreed to treat your information in accordance with this policy and national privacy standards.

We never sell or rent your personal information.
Stone may also release personal information under the following circumstances: Where release is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation or is requested by a government agency; Where our records indicate a company may be engaged in fraudulent activity or other deceptive practices that a governmental agency should be made aware of; or To appropriate persons, where your communication suggests possible harm to others.

Help Us Keep Your Personal Information Accurate
If your personal information changes or you would like to review the personal information we may have on file, please e-mail us with the new information or your review request at privacyreview@stonealarm.com. Let us also know what led to your submission of personal information so we may efficiently locate your information.

Computer Tracking and Cookies
Our web sites are not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Stone uses non-identifying cookies to provide easier site navigation and access to forms. You can still use the Stone sites if your browser is set to reject cookies. Our cookies do not generate personal data, do not read personal data from your machine and are never tied to anything that could be used to identify you.

Trademark Notice

All trademarks, service marks and trade names of Stone Alarm used in the site (including but not limited to the Stone Alarm name, Stone and the big red S design) are trademarks or registered trademarks of Stone Alarm, LLC. They may not be used without Stone Alarm’s prior written permission. Any other intellectual property in the site, including but not limited to patents, issued or pending, are the sole property of Stone Alarm and/or its licensors. Any and all marks or logos of affiliates, partners or vendors of Stone Alarm are the property of their respective owners and may not be used without prior written consent of the owners thereof.


Refund Policy

The customer is responsible for all charges for services which have already been rendered by Stone. The customer is entitled to a refund for all services not incurred at the time of the refund request. Following approval, refunds will be issued by the Company within 5 business days. Actual refund time will vary based upon merchant processors and other banking factors outside of the control of Stone. In all cases, any activation fee paid by customer is not refundable. Equipment returns will be refunded only if returned in new condition. No refund will be issued for damaged equipment.


Exchange

Defective purchases will be exchanged at no cost to the customer; this does not apply to damage caused by customer.


Cancellation

In accordance with local laws, all customers have an exclusive right to cancel their service within 3 days of signing. Customers may cancel by sending in a hard copy of their notice of cancellation, sending an email to the address listed on this site, faxing notice to the company or by calling customer service and requesting the same. After the third day, the customer is bound by the terms of the contract which calls for an early termination fee based upon the remaining payments due under the contract. The customer contract may be terminated by company if customer fails to perform their payment obligations. This termination does not relieve customer of financial responsibility.
